Cait Reas White Vase

Hand-built in Los Angeles by ceramicist Cait Reas, this stunning vase brings a unique playful micro-scalloped texture to traditional porcelain ceramics. Drawing on a background in design and fashion, Cait creates ceramic pieces that are both functional and sculptural. Deeply inspired by textures found in nature: eroded stone, marble, charcoal, peeling bark as well as textile design, her pieces are finished to reflect these influences. This piece is crafted from porcelain slip, and stands 5 inches tall. It features an unglazed exterior and a white glazed interior.
