Artisanal Preserved Lemons Workshop
Join us for a beautifully hands-on holiday workshop where we’ll create artisanal preserved lemons using the finest organic, locally grown citrus. In this intimate, joy-filled class, you’ll choose from fragrant Meyer and Eureka lemons—plus specialty limes—then layer them with premium aromatics like juniper, peppercorns, bay leaves, rosemary and cinnamon to design your own customized flavor profile.
Workshop host, Susan Ellicott, a private chef and forager in California and London, will guide you through the essential tips and techniques for preserving citrus two ways — in salt or sugar. You’ll fill high-quality glass preserving jars, finishing them with ribbons, labels, and seasonal touches so your creation becomes a perfectly giftable holiday treasure, or a unique condiment for your own home kitchen. Either way, you’ll go home with something both beautiful and delicious—crafted entirely by you. A festive, sensory-rich experience for food lovers who appreciate organic ingredients, local provenance, and meaningful hands-on creativity.
