The Art of Transformation Series: Ice Creams and Infused Desserts

As summer arrives on the Central Coast, gardens and hillsides begin to fill with fragrance — rose petals warming in the sun, wild fennel along walking paths, lavender in bloom, fig leaves perfuming the evening air. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore how to capture those fleeting seasonal aromas and transform them into elegant homemade ice creams and infused desserts.
Together we’ll work with botanical ingredients, learning how to infuse cream and syrup, balance delicate flavors, and create iced desserts that feel both refined and deeply connected to place.
Guests will taste a selection of flora-based ice creams and seasonal accompaniments, and leave with inspiration for bringing more sensory beauty and local seasonality into everyday cooking and entertaining.
