Accordion Bookmaking Workshop
Fold, Dip, Bind and Paint Your Own Accordion Books
Santa Barbara artist Jacqui Wou will be teaching a beginner-friendly paper dyeing and book building workshop that will introduce you to the step-by-step process of creating handmade accordion books with a playful and fun approach.
The process includes folding and dyeing the paper cover and then assembling and binding your accordion book. Students will take home accordion books to display your personalized pages of messages, photos, or artwork!
All materials will be supplied for the class. Students will learn tips for future projects and resources for more bookmaking inspiration to continue the practice of accordion book making.
